David Moyes Man United debut free on TV: Sky Sports live match lineup

Sky Sports has revealed its live match lineup for the 2013-2014 season and has confirmed that David Moyes's first league game as Manchester United manager will air for free.

In a promotional stunt, Sky Sports 1 will go free on the opening day of this year's Premier League season and Manchester United's trip to Swansea has been picked as the evening kick-off on Saturday, August 17.

Sky's opening weekend of games will also feature the return of Jose Mourinho as Chelsea manager at home to recently promoted Hull City (Sunday 18th) and Manchester City's new boss Manuel Pellegrini's first game in charge at home to Newcastle United (Monday 19th).

Tottenham's trip to Crystal Palace at 1.30pm on Sunday 18th will also be shown.

Outside of the Premier League, the Championship Yorkshire Derby between Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday will also be free for all Sky subscribers on August 17 at 1.30pm.

Sky Sports faces fresh competition with the Premier League coverage this season from BT Sport, who have secured some 'first pick' matches for the forthcoming season.

However, Sky remains confident that its coverage remains the most comprehensive and is the best deal for football fans.

Manchester United celebrate with the trophy

"This is our biggest ever season of Premier League football. When you look at the opening fixtures in black and white, you can see that no other broadcaster comes close to the quality that we offer," said Barney Francis, managing director of Sky Sports.

"Sky Sports will show every match between last season's top four as well as every club at least twice by December. We'll have more than three times as many matches as BT, and our schedule is even stronger than it was last season.

"With the best team of analysts, a fantastic new weekend schedule and coverage from the Football League, UEFA Champions League, La Liga and the SPL, this is the best ever football season for Sky Sports viewers."

Sky's new-look weekend of football will centre around the new pairing of Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville on Monday Night Football and the launch of Saturday Night Football every week at 5.30pm.

Path partners with Nokia to bring app to Lumia 1020

After months of anticipation, Path is finally bringing its social network to the Windows Phone, and it's starting with the Nokia Lumia 1020. The app, which is still in the works and hasn't been assigned a launch date, will take advantage of the company's new imaging SDK and its plethora of photo filters. Although the main focus of Path's announcement was centered on the new Lumia, it also mentioned that the app will indeed come to "all Windows Phones." No word on if the launch will occur across the board at the same time (nor if this includes Windows Phone 7.5 or only affects WP8 users) or if it will be featured only on the 1020 at first, but we'll update you as soon as we know. In the meantime, there's a press release for you to digest below the break.

(AP) ? Andrew Bynum has a new team waiting for him.

The enigmatic free-agent center, who didn't play a single second for Philadelphia last season because of knee injuries, is mulling a two-year offer from the Cleveland Cavaliers, a person familiar with the negotiations told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Cleveland made the offer, which includes a team option in the second year, during his visit to the Cavs' facility Monday. Bynum did not work out but the team examined him thoroughly.

The person with knowledge of the negotiations spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the talks. Yahoo! Sports first reported Cleveland's offer and said it was worth $24 million.

The 25-year-old Bynum had arthroscopic surgery on both knees in March, but the Cavs apparently are confident he will return to the form that made him one of the NBA's best centers.

They're also counting on him thriving under Cleveland coach Mike Brown, who has returned to the Cavs after being fired three years ago. Brown and Bynum spent one season together with the Los Angeles Lakers and the 7-footer had his best year, averaging 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds. Over the past four seasons, Bynum has averaged 14.7 points and 9.5 rebounds.

Cleveland has competition in its pursuit of Bynum, who was scheduled to meet with the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday and is expected to visit Dallas on Wednesday. The Mavericks need a big man after losing out in the Dwight Howard sweepstakes.

It's not clear when Bynum will make his decision. The NBA's free-agency moratorium period ends Wednesday.

His agent, David Lee, did not immediately respond to a phone message.

The Cavs have already landed forward Earl Clark and guard Jarrett Jack in free agency and are looking to move up quickly. They would immediately vault into contention in the Eastern Conference with a healthy Bynum paired with All-Star guard Kyrie Irving and a roster that includes forward Tristan Thompson, guard Dion Waiters and forward Anthony Bennett, the No. 1 overall pick in last month's draft.

The Sixers acquired Bynum last summer from the Lakers as part of a four-team trade.

Bynum, who made $16.9 million despite not playing last season, never got healthy enough to get on the floor with the Sixers.

The Cavs would be taking a risk with Bynum that could have huge rewards. He would instantly raise their profile and probably get them back to the playoffs after winning just 66 games combined the past three seasons. In giving him only a two-year deal, they would not be tying up much money which would allow them to stay flexible next summer when several top-tier free agents ? possibly LeBron James ? will be on the market.
